This morning, we are on the train to Aswan. It usually runs an hour or two late. Knowing this, our Tour Directors adjusted our schedule for the next two days.
Today, all of us will be doing all of the Aswan sightseeing: the Unfinished Obelisk, the Philae Temple, a tour of the city, and a felucca cruise.
We will check in to our Nile cruise ship around lunchtime. Most of the touring will be done this morning, and the felucca cruise will happen after lunch.
Our cruise ship will be docked in Aswan tonight, and tomorrow all but 12 of us will be heading to Abu Simbel. Those going on the special tour will return to the cruise ship around lunch time and then we will cruise to Kom Ombo. Those not going will have time to relax, use the pool, and sit in the warm Egyptian sun.
One final thing: the cruise ship is just for our group. No one else will be on it. We take up all but two rooms on the 30 cabin ship.
