Egypt in Full Gear; Showcases the top MICE destinations

In this regard, Egypt has decided to avail of this event to launch the New Promotional Campaign for the year 2012 and promoting the country as one of the most preferred MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) Destination.
     Inaugurating the Egyptian Stall and launching the New Promotional Campaign for Egypt in India. H.E. Khaled El Bakly, Ambassador of Egypt to India said: “2011 was a turning point in our long history. We are now presenting our country as of the Emerging Democratic Economies.      Commenting on Egypt’s participation at SATTE Mr. Adel El Masry, Director Egypt Tourism Office in India said: “SATTE provides a platform to meet many major Indian and global players in the Tourism Industry. This helps in expanding our network of travel tour operators in India. We have had a wonderful response at SATTE Asia 2010 with good quality buyers showing interest in Egypt. For us, the contacts, network and insights we received for the Asian market – also for the business meetings have been outstanding SATTE is indeed the biggest platform in the Indian sub-continent in travel and tourism. The tourism sector in Egypt is witnessing a major turnaround. We are keen to evolve Egypt as one of the top business MICE destination.
     Egypt Tourism Office during SATTE 2012 will highlight some of the major MICE, Leisure and Corporate Travel destinations to woo business and leisure travelers to promote destinations such as Cairo, Al Gouna, Luxor, Sinai, and Sharm El Sheikh.
