Egypt
has always been and will continue to be a safe gateway for visitors and
tourists, Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim said Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
During a meeting with Elhamy Al-Zayat,
the chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Tourism, Ibrahim assured
international travel agencies that post-revolution Egypt will always be
safe and secure.
Egyptian police are working hard to maintain security and stability in the country, he stressed.
Elhamy, for his part, hailed the
concrete security efforts during the current period, noting that the
security is the main pillar of tourism development in Egypt.
